Numeracy Summit & Summer Resources

Last week, we hosted our Numeracy Summit as the next step toward building a statewide plan to elevate evidence-based math instruction. I am grateful to all the educators, regional superintendents, representatives of higher education, and other stakeholders who attended or presented and to all the ISBE staff members who helped produce the summit. You can keep up to date on the progress of the plan via the ISBE Illinois Numeracy Plan webpage and sign up to participate in its development by completing the Illinois Comprehensive Numeracy Plan Interest Survey. Watch for listening tours to collect your insights as we develop and revise the first draft.
