His lesson plans are easy to follow and he reviews previously covered topics to insure that the student recalls the material at a later date. So far, both my daughter and I have been very happy with the material and content of his lessons. I look forward to seeing some improvement on her tests when the answers come out in December.

All of them like Jeff and agree that his tutelage is encouraging and helpful in spite of their reluctance to devote prized summer vacation time to schoolwork. Jeff seems to drop in enticements individually tailored to the kids' interests in addition to the serious work of detailed discussions and writing. He is encouraging and positive toward the children, building their esteem, but rigorous. He has a lesson plan for each session, but he is flexible, still managing to bring each session back to his re-emphasize his theme of study skills. Tutoring subjects have included writing, social studies, study skills, computer skills, English, and elementary arithmetic. His content knowledge and use of references is excellent... and my expectations are high. I am particularly pleased that Jeff communicates extensively with me (by email) so that the family can cooperate & reinforce this learning process. He has also communicated very professionally with the school.
