She always came prepared with homework/practice worksheets for my daughter to work on her own and they would discuss it in her next visit. She was very patient with my daughter who has attention difficulties and can be very resistant to anything she doesn't want to do. She also has learning disabilities and gets easily frustrated when she doesn't understand something right away. However, Beverly charged ahead trying to redirect her and encourage her as much as she could. Unfortunately, we all came to the conclusion that this arrangement wasn't working for either party. So sadly we decided to part ways. She is an excellent tutor and anyone who is lucky enough to get her should treasure her because she is truly a gift.
