Mulugeta W. from Washington, DC Dr. Margaret is a very positive and helpful tutor. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and bringing some one to higher level. She has helped me to develop confidence, correct accents, develop dialogue skill, improve my writing skills as well as my vocabulary. She listens her students interest and change strategies as necessary to get the point they want to be. She provides relevant and helpful materials and exercises. She does not pass on when she sees mistakes, she suggests corrections right at spot; this practice helped me to be conscious and critical thinker in all communications. In general I found Dr. Margaret to be a reliable source, knowledgeable and honest tutor who is passionate about what she does. I consider my self lucky to have her as a tutor.
Yvette D. from Rockville, MD I must admit, Mrs. Margaret Ellen is definitely one of the most professional tutors, I have ever encountered. She is very knowledgeable in the area of epidemiology, and I was amazed at her ability to simplify complex materials into a form that is easily understandable. When I attended my first tutoring session, I was completely lost! I had a difficult time understanding some of the terminology used in epidemiology and interpreting research articles. This lack of understanding had a negative impact on my grades; however, two lessons later, my grades have improved and my confidence level is restored! I can't tell you how grateful I am for the wisdom and motivation that Mrs. Margaret brings to every lesson or session. She reviews every lesson plan in advance, and she shows up prepared and motivated to teach! She is very flexible (She worked around by busy work schedule), but most of all she gave me the motivation and knowledge that I needed to succeed in my epidemiology course. I have learned so from Mrs. Margaret in such a short period of time, and I would certainly recommend her without any hesitation. Although the price was a little costly, the knowledge that I gained from these tutoring sessions was worth every cent I had to pay! Thank you so, much! Mrs. Margaret. Words can not express my gratitude.

Ji M. from Ellicott City, MD My daughter had tutors before but Margaret is incomparable to anyone my daughter had in the past. She is an exceptionally excellent teacher. She spends tremendous time planning what would be best for my daughter. Very thorough and detailed instructions, lesson plans and feedback are the best of what I have experienced. With gentle, kind and encouraging personality Margaret has, my daughter is very comfortable and enjoys having lessons with her. We are planning and looking forward to work with Margaret for a long time.
Gerdine D. from Columbia, MD My experience working with Margaret M. has been so delightful. She is approachable, knowledgeable and caring. Her expertise in editing and formatting has benefited me in completing my final paper for completing my graduate degree. Overall, this has been a wonderful experience and I highly recommend her tutoring style; she is able to work with a diverse group of learners. She is a great writing expert.
Mike C. from Bethesda, MD Our daughter, a high school junior, worked with Ms. M on study skills, organization, reading and writing skills, and developing a timetable for AP preparation. She provided several highly informative handouts, was always on time, and was able to communicate well with our daughter. While many tutors are subject experts, we liked Ms. M's ability to help teach our daughter how to study, how to read, and how to plan ahead. Ms. M was also available for check in phone/email conversations with our daughter between formal sessions. We like also that she was flexible, punctual, and was a great model for our daughter. She also provided some helpful hints on approaches to college applications. We can recommend Ms. M unreservedly.
