I typed in trig and physics tutor and was surprised when Leo popped up- he was local, affordable and available. After a few lessons my son is more confident with his work and in fact scored a 95 on a math test, needless to say I was ecstatic. My son says that Leo is patient but more importantly he understands what he is teaching, he gets down to a level that he can relate to. Leo is also flexible whether my son wants to go over math, physics or SAT prep work he is ready and prepared to help him. I love that Leo is not punching a clock with my son, if Leo feels my son requires more time and he does not have a student he has no problem working with my son until he is confident and understands what they are reviewing. I am very pleased with the service and will definitely refer Leo to anyone looking for a great tutor!

I basically sat them down with Leo and said good luck as I walked away! Whatever "magic" he did with them to get them working was great and worked like a charm. The boys left the session in good spirits (big difference from practically dragging them in by their ears an hour earlier). They both said that they understood what Leo was trying to explain and that the time seemed to go fast. My 6th grader took a practice math test during school that he got a 40 on. That night was his first tutoring session which he reviewed the practice test. The following day he took the actual test and got a 76! We are all very pleased and look forward to their grades improving more and more. Now that same child just got a 96!
