He's great at explaining things to me and approaching the same question in different ways until I really understand it. My class just finished talking about thermochemistry and when I met with him today, I was able to do a lot of the questions on my own - a testament to him doing his job well. A couple of weeks ago, I had no idea where to start with most of the questions. Sometimes he mixes things up a little bit, but upon asking more questions and connecting the dots on my own, we almost always end up at the correct answer. We're moving on to electrochemistry in lecture next week, and he said that he remembers electrochemistry better than thermochemistry. I hope he's right, because I don't understand any of it at this point, despite having learned it a year ago. He's been available every time I've scheduled a session, even when I ask if he's available only a couple of days in advance, and has been able to easily reschedule when I accidentally overbook a particular part of my day.
