Charlie has brought the calm and fun back into a subject that had been very challenging for my son. I also selected Charlie because he tutors other subjects. That is proving to be of great help because Charlie has been very willing to work with my son on other subjects such as biology. Charlie's feedback emails after the lessons are especially helpful because of the guidance and suggestions Charlie makes for continued self study in between the tutorial meetings with him. Charlie emphasizes helping his students develop a "workable" study strategy that helps students achieve their academic goals in a way where school work doesn't consume all of the home life. Charlie has been 100% reliable. He has also been flexible in working with my family on arranging a suitable tutorial meeting schedule. My son said he really likes Mr. G because he is calm, patient, and makes the "stuff" fun. My son also said Mr. G says it's okay to try even if your answer is wrong because a good way of learning is figuring out your errors. My son said Mr. G says trying and seeing where your errors are helps you know where to spend your study time. Listening to my son, I am very pleased observing my son learn about and develop a study process and strategy that works for him with Mr. G's help. The study skills Charlie emphasizes are useful beyond the particular subject Charlies happens to be tutoring a child on. Thank you Charlie!
