I have been involved in the Deaf community for several years. As of now, I am still a volunteer. Since 2004 my experience with American Sign Language as also improved my knowledge of their culture. I have taken college courses from ASL 1 to the interpreting levels. I am more proud to say that my associating with the Deaf is what has cause my experience to escalate.
