Hola! My passion for Spanish extends beyond the classroom, back to my early years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras, Central America. Since that incredible experience, I delighted in teaching Spanish for 18 years at the elementary school level. My transition to high school teacher has been surprisingly smooth. I do feel that, despite my affinity for younger students, I have found my niche teaching those sometimes challenging but incredibly rewarding high school age students.
