After a long and happy career as a teacher of Honors and Advanced Placement English in a large suburban high school, I’m in the middle of another happy career as a published writer (3 young people’s novels, 2 mysteries for general readers). What I miss as a writer is the contact and exchange of ideas with young people, which is an especially fulfilling part of teaching teenagers. I look forward to that kind of experience again as a tutor….
