Personal Description:
I graduated from Cornell University with a dual degree summa cum laude in History of Art and Classics in 2001, then went on to read Tripos Part II as an affiliated student at Magdalene College, Cambridge, graduating with a BA Hons First Class in 2003. Testimonials
David C. from Lake Mary, FL Ms. E. is in one simple word, passionate. Her greatest characteristic is her sincerity in assisting me to achieve my goal. She stays true to herself and brings a new learning system to the table. Specifically speaking for me, I was in need of some help on SAT prep for essay writing and reading and she surprised me in not taking the usual road of taking practice tests in a book, and checking them after. Instead she would bring her own original ideas to the table each tutoring session to improve on my writing and reading skills such as reproducing general Sat essay questions from various sources like philosophical novels, NY Times Articles, etc.. Every week I am thankful to have a great tutor such as her because I literally learn something new in each session. When she teaches me I feel we are constantly in motion in terms of productivity and I never feel as if the hour went to waste. The 1 full hour is the most beneficial hour a person can receive. If you feel as if you need help on reading or writing, this is your tutor. It's safe to say Ms. Eliot is an expert in this particular field since she is an author and an English/writing major after all. Let me include to say she received her degrees from Cornell and is currently attending Harvard. If that's not credibility for you then what is? Overall my experience with her tutoring sessions have been amazing and I'm really grateful I got the chance to find her.
