Hello. I started teaching math in 1987. I first taught aboard a schooner that sailed up and down the east coast. After 2 years, I left the ship and moved to Saco, ME. I taught middle school mathematics for 3 years there. In 1992, I moved to Olympia, WA and began teaching math at the local community college. I have been teaching there for 21 years!
I am patient and I have a calm personality that is perfect for working with people who become frustrated when learning math.
