Patient, Understanding Help with Arithmetic and Grammar

As the child of immigrants I am very patient with people who are not fluent in English. I am also a step parent and while my stepson was in elementary, Junior and Senior High School I spent many hours helping with his homework. I now help my godchildren, who are nine and 13, with their homework.
