He is up to date with the latest technology, Excel 2011- knows how to do syntaxes and formulas using Excel for HW assignments, and any question I had regarding the use of the TI 83plus Calculator regarding Statistics tests, distributions, or variable statistics was easily answered. He truly has a passion for mathematics, but is also just a brilliant tutor who loves helping students. I am more than lucky to have had the experience working with David. He is a Princeton University graduate, a Brown University Masters graduate, and PhD in Mathematics and statistics. He is by far one of the smartest people I have ever met in my life, and if you ever have the opportunity to work with him then you are one of the lucky ones too. We would meet at the Brown library which made for a great studying environment, and his commitment to teaching me the most efficient and useful way to learn the material is what I loved most about him. I could flip to any page in my text book and he could just "crush" problems left and right. Before David started tutoring me, I would feel sick about the thought of Economic Statistics, but he helped me build the confidence I needed to look at any problem and determine the best method to solving it. It's weird to say, but I actually ended up liking statistics by the second Mid term because I scored well above the average in the class. The payoff is definitely worth the investment. If I ever needed to change our meeting time, or needed a last minute session before the exam, I could easily text him, or email and he would respond very shortly after. He is the type of teacher than change your whole perspective on a subject, even beyond mathematics (philosophy, chemistry, biology).
