Educated in the French school system, I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Paris, France, and then a PhD in Biochemistry from the Univ. of Minnesota where I was a Teaching Assistant for 3 years. Back in Europe, I did scientific research in Paris and then in Milan, Italy where I lived for 12 years.
