Yngrid P. offers Vocabulary Lessons, Spanish Lessons, and English Lessons

Chris A. from Houston, TX I have started to take Spanish Lessons with Yngrid. I am conversational but wanted to achieve fluency if possible for my career. Yngrid understood this immediately, and began speaking to me at a very high level, from beginning to end. I have only taken one lesson so far, which was mainly an introduction. She talked in Spanish a majority of the time, pressing me to respond, and emphasizing pronunciation. She explained, again, completely in Spanish her goals for me, and how she would run the lessons, with learning verbs as a primary focus. In short, there will be no break for English or translation. Essentially, you are learning Spanish from a native speaker, who seemingly knows no English. However, I will say that she is very accommodating. It appears other tutors have set plans for students to achieve certain goals at the end of 6, 7, or 8 weeks etc. I do not have such a schedule for the next lesson, or any lesson going forward, or how the program of tutoring will pan out. Therefore, this review is premature at this stage in time, and will likely be more accurate after 2-3 lessons.
