I am a native French speaker, born and raised in France, where I still go every summer to visit my family. I became a French teacher seven years ago. I have been teaching in high schools in New York and I am currently an adjunct teacher in the SUNY Rockland Community College. I have a Masters degree in education in French from SUNY New Paltz.

Because of her knowledge of the literature and her years of teaching experience, she brings a wealth of ideas about different things to read and approaches to take. She is thorough while at the same time being patient and understanding, and although we cover a lot of ground during each lesson the time passes quickly and effortlessly. Reflecting back over this series of lessons I am very pleasantly surprised at how much more confident and competent I am about hearing, speaking and understanding French. Five stars!
