My BA is in French. During my studies I really enjoyed reading and writing about French literature and culture, especially Francophone culture. I studied in southern France, in Avignon, living immersed with a family for a summer. Then I joined the Peace Corps and lived in Guinea, West Africa for 3 years, again immersed in French and native languages to communicate. I taught high school English and Chemistry while there with French being the common language.
