Latin 1-5 AP Tutoring
I have taught Latin at all levels to high school students in Massachusetts and Virginia. We covered everything from vocabulary to grammar – oh that ‘dreaded’ passive voice – to reading and translating. We read both prose and poetry – from Livy to Cicero to Catullus, Horace, and best of all Vergil. My goal is to make students comfortable with all the nuances of learning a foreign language, even an ancient one. A great part of this is to make connections between the ancient and modern worlds…
