Mathematics is my passion, ever since first grade, when my only Christmas wish was for more math packets. I excelled at math in high school, taking calculus as early as I could in tenth grade so that I could get on to college-level math. After graduation, I went to M.I.T. to study pure mathematics, obtaining a B.S. in 2004. From there it was University of Washington for my Ph.D., which I obtained in 2011.
