I am an experienced Latin teacher with a permanent teaching certificate from the State of New York. I have taught foreign languages from grade 7 to grade 12.

I believe that every student can master Latin and in so doing, gain a better mastery of English at the same time. The key to mastery of Latin is to make it relevant to the student. The Latin language is all around us and familiarity with the language empowers the student to advance to a more highly nuanced use of English.
