My name is Susan and I would love to be your math tutor. After I stopped teaching to take care of my own children, I realized that what I enjoy most about teaching is working one on one with students to help them understand mathematics.

One of my favorite things about her is that if she doesn't know something, she just says "I don't think I really know this." I have worked with people in the past that would never admit there was something that they were not 100% about, instead just pretended that they knew it. I ended up finding out after being tested that in fact they didn't. I would MUCH rather have someone say, "I don't know, but lets find out" than pretend. If there was something that Susan didn't know (which wasn't much!) we would figure it out together, which was just as good because sometimes you just need to have someone to work with and bounce things off of for them to stick for you. My only complaint is that she doesn't tutor in every subject I will be studying for my RN license! She is very reliable, knowledgeable, and is always on time.
