As a child, I dreamed of being a teacher. As a student, I loved History and other Social Studies courses. I lived out my dream as a Cleveland (Ohio) Social Studies teacher to students in grades 7-12. During my 27 1/2 years as a classroom teacher, I taught more that 4,400 students, and served as a Faculty Advisor for 12 extra-curricular activities. I also served as a mentor to high school teachers who were new to the profession, for four years.
