Douglas W. from Springfield, VA I have been taking my 5th grade daughter to see Laleh for tutoring in elementary mathematics. Laleh is very patient in working with younger students. Her office is well organized and she gives students homework to work on between tutoring sessions. She is also collecting old SOL tests and planning to use them in her curriculum. Although my daughter has only gone to see Laleh twice she is already feeling more confident about math. I am glad we found her and plan to keep having weekly tutoring sessions.

Christen G. from Springfield, VA I have had about 3 lessons with Laleh so far and I have been progressing after each visit. I'm tutoring with her for the math section of the TEAS test. She knows her math very well and does an excellent job for you to learn it in the simplest ways. I like her tutoring room set up because she has a huge dry erase board for her to show you the problems and your able to work them out together. She also has great worksheets and objects to use to show you what she is explaining with math. I like her style of teaching and we have continued to progress through things I'm weak in. Shes a great tutor and has made me feel a lot more confident in the areas I'm weak in.

Cy S. from Falls Church, VA Clear, kind, but still appropriately challenging! Calm and gentle. She also gently corrects and remains consistent. Just a great teacher!

Jennifer G. from Burke, VA I have been very happy with my daughter's progress since working with Laleh. She was having difficulty with the fast pace used in the advanced academic program. She didn't have enough time to catch on to basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. After weekly sessions with Laleh, my daughter has become more comfortable with the basic skills. I was very happy to hear that my daughter only got one wrong on the 3rd grade SOL! Laleh is very professional and encouraging. It is worth it to see my daughter have confidence in math that she never had before. Thank you, Laleh!

Galina T. from Centreville, VA Both I and my husband have degrees in math and physics, so naturally we assumed that we can help our son with any math problem. And we tried doing it, from first grade to fifth grade- without any success. He would learn how to solve a problem, and a week later he would look at the same problem like he is seeing it for the first time in his life. It was extremely frustrating, year after year, scandal after scandal. We gave up by the end of the 5th grade, and started tutoring with Laleh. And now, several months later, I am amazed with the progress. Somehow Laleh figured out a way to patiently explain how to think and solve problems, and also how for the knowledge to stay long term in his brain. My son likes math now, he would proudly announce: "Mom, I am doing problems for 8th grade!" (He is in 6th grade now). I can see a sudden interest for math, and that is a huge change compared to several months ago. I am very impressed with his progress. Laleh succeeded where we, parents, tried and failed.
