(IB Spanish is a two-year class and to earn the IB Diploma, he will need to pass a written and oral exam at the end of the second year.) The class is given in Spanish and my son?s background of keeping up with the spoken language is not his strong suit, and therefore his confidence level of the subject matter was not so good. Working with Claudia has been great! They get along well. Their sessions are almost completely done in Spanish (I have heard very little English spoken). They have tackled some of the homework assignments together which has been very beneficial for him to feel that he actually understands the work. Claudia told us that these are not simple assignments! Claudia is helping him to gain a true sense of confidence that he can learn this subject and do well in the class. I am very glad that we hired Claudia to help our son succeed.
