I am Australian born and raised. I am from a large family with both deaf and hearing siblings. I moved to Washington D.C. in the late 1980’s and graduated from Gallaudet University with Masters in Mental Health Counseling in Deafness. I am also tri-lingual, Auslan (Australian) Sign Language, English and American Signed Language). I earned my ASLTA certification in 2006.
