I received a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. Before arriving to Austin I majored in physics and astronomy at the University of Texas Pan American. After participating in the STARTS astronomy society in McAllen, TX I gained experience with both the understanding of astronomy and cosmology including working with my hometown community.
