I was inspired to become a Spanish Teacher as a result of a semester stay I had in the Dominican Republic. I took classes there and also had the opportunity to student teach at an English school. I saw how motivated the students were to learn English and I was certain that I could motivate American children to learn Spanish.
I taught Spanish for two years in the Gwinnett County Public Schools….
