Testimonials
Antonia P. from Sunland, CA Dr. G. was able to see at once that my daughter's struggled with reading was because of a lack of confidence not ability. Her calm patient teaching boosted my child 2 grade levels after a summer of hard work. Her wealth of knowledge makes Dr. G. the perfect tutor for any age.
Janice O. from Pasadena, CA Pamela G. was an excellent tutor for my sons. She worked effectively with them to improve their writing and reading analysis skills. She assigned writing exercises, reviewed them in detail at the subsequent session, discussed new vocabulary words at each session, and read and analyzed other writers with them. I greatly appreciated her detailed summaries and her comments about the boys' progress as a follow up to each session. Pamela G. had a wonderfully professional yet, kind and personable approach to each tutoring session. My sons felt that they learned from her and that their writing had improved. She gave them a greater sense of confidence in their own ability to write. Thank you!

Larry B. from Pasadena, CA Our daughter was so excited to see Miss. Pamela for her first lesson. She felt comfortable and relaxed with Miss. Pamela and is looking forward to seeing her again. Miss. Pamela is helping her build her confidence and teaching her different ways other than traditional learning skills. We are excited for our future lessons and to see our daughter learn on all levels. Thanks WyzAnt for sending Miss. Pamela our way!
Jacquelyn T. from Arcadia, CA Pamela helped me edit my letters of intent (SOP) for my graduate school applications. I had to write 6 different letters, since they were restricted to a certain topic or length (250 words to unlimited). We mainly communicated through email, I sent my letters to her and she sent them back with her suggestions for me to update. I appreciated her honesty, clarity, expertise, and promptness. She was very helpful to me and made me feel very confident in my letters when I finally sent them out. I was accepted into 4 out 6 schools, and feel my strong letters were a significant part of my graduate application packet. I would use her again in the future if needed.
Jodie L. from Pasadena, CA Pamela has been nothing short of amazing in the time that she has worked with my son, and I have been remiss to not say so earlier. The first time she met with him, she could tell immediately that his issues with ADHD were creating a dislike of learning itself, and set to work igniting that spark from within. Even the after-school caregivers who have observed her work with him have commented about how skilled she is in connecting and nurturing his natural energy and interest. Now that we are transitioning to middle school, we have many unanticipated challenges to face, but she is unflaggingly supportive and patient. She is a critical component of our academic support team, a trusted friend to my child, and will undoubtedly stand as one of the best teachers we could have ever hoped to find.
Renee Z. from Arcadia, CA I've always want to find the best tutor for my baby sisters. And lucky me, I got Dr. G. Not mention her kindness and patience, she is really good at tutoring. My baby sisters barely know any English to understand the material, but Dr. G found a way to communicate with them and play with them. I can tell by those laughs that they are not just learning English, but enjoying to learn it as well. The kids love her and her way of teaching. She is the best!
Joanne L. from San Gabriel, CA Dr. G's lesson review is very detailed and helpful. It makes sense to me, lets me be aware of what the kids learned, and helps to follow up them easily. It's hard to find a right teacher like Dr. G. We are lucky!
Vicky C. from Temple City, CA My five year old son really enjoy Dr. G?s lesson. He is happy that he can learn more things. We have been looking for a right teacher for him for long time. And we are happy that we found her.
Kathy Z. from La Canada Flintridge, CA During the last few months of my daughter's Freshman high school year, we realized that neither my husband or I could help our daughter dig her way out of an "F" grade in her English class. We just could not figure out what this incredibly difficult English teacher wanted even though we thought we were following his instructions to the letter. We did not want her to fail so we hired Pamela G. through WyzAnt and it helped tremendously and my daughter passed the class. My daughter took to her good nature immediately and felt comfortable and secure in her guidance from the very first lesson. Pamela is a brilliant scholar but what she also shines at is connecting with the student by being supportive and helping to find a path to getting through a tough learning situation. My daughter is extremely shy in class and would normally never ask questions or seek out any help at school. Pamela helped my daughter to gain a sense of confidence and empowered her to go multiple times to confront her English teacher to ask questions and get the answers she needed to help complete the assignments the way he wanted them to be done. We are now done with this school year, but we plan to have Pamela back in the fall to work more with Allie not only to help with her homework, but more importantly, gain better organization skills and learning strategies that will help her not only with a future in college, but in life! I highly recommend Pamela to any student looking to make a difference in their learning!
Anuja N. from Burbank, CA My 8 year old is not fond of languages right now but he likes Dr. G. He enjoys her lessons. He has been taking lessons from her for 3-4 months now. She is very patient. She is not just teaching him English but also strategies that I am hoping will teach him how to learn by himself. We really like her and hoping our son will start enjoying English and writing with her.
Gina Z. from Arcadia, CA Pamela has been a very responsible teacher to my daughter throughout the whole summer. She would always have written down what they would do in class and later on give me all the details through e-mail. She is also very patient with my daughter, she makes my daughter want to learn more of what she taught and always wanting to finish her homework ahead of time. She is a very kind and responsible teacher that I would love to have again teaching my daughter next summer!
