The YDN curriculum teaching strategies and learning environments are all based upon what early childhood educators know about the way young children develop and learn best. Our classrooms are busy places with children involved in hands-on activities talking playing exploring singing laughing and sharing experiences. Research shows that little children learn far better through direct interactive experiences than through just sitting and listening to a teacher talk. We create learning environments and activities that are in tune with childrens different ages and stages of development. Each classroom teacher uses The Creative Curriculum Strategies Inc. as the basis for creating and maintaining a high-quality program.
