Discovery Learning Center has chosen the HighReach Learning curriculum. According to the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), a child has five core components of development: socio-emotional, language, cognitive, physical, and aesthetic. Through the HighReach Learning curriculum, your child will enjoy a well-rounded balance of learning experiences and many opportunities to develop important skills needed to be successful in school.
Each HighReach Learning Curriculum program contains age-appropriate experiences that promote creativity, family involvement, social interaction, language development, and more, while leveraging your childs natural curiosity. Each month’s topic is a springboard for exploration and discovery. The curriculum planning process empowers your child to contribute to the topics of exploration. Actively engaging your child in what he or she wishes to explore makes learning fun, and develops the skills and knowledge for school success.
