I believe that children thrive in an environment that is safe and enriching. Children who are cared for outside of the home need “a home away from home” where warmth, love, security and growth are the norm. They need a safe haven where they can develop their individual potential. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”. Matthew 19:14 (NIV). Just as children are important in the sight of our Lord, they are important to me! That’s why Kids of Destiny endeavors to provide an environment where children can learn about Christ, understand his love for them and come to know his unique plan for their lives.
Did you know that the first six years of a child’s life are critical to their development? During these years, the foundation is laid for the type of person they will become. For this reason, we will encourage each child’s individuality, while assisting them to develop socially, emotionally, spiritually, cognitively and physically. This holistic approach to childcare provides a strong basis for your child’s success.
Children require an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. When given the opportunity to explore and “think outside of the box”, through creative, purposeful play, their hunger to learn develops with their ability to reason.
