Preschool in Whitehouse, NJ 08888
The Preschool has been a mission of the Whitehouse United Methodist Church since 1969 when a committee of Church women determined there was a need for a safe, secure environment for the communitys youngest members to grow, learn and play. We are happy to continue their mission for the past 40 years, growing and changing as a reflection of the growth and change that has taken place both in our community and as a society.
What has remained constant over these past 40 years is the dedication of the staff to the growth and development of the individual child entrusted to our care. We continue to remain one of the few traditional non-profit preschools in the area, offering part time hours to those who do not need a daycare environment. Our close daily interaction with families allows us to build a good line of communication between home and school, thereby providing our children with a positive introduction to their first school experience. It continues to be our goal to develop in our children a lifelong love of learning and to provide each child with the foundations upon which future academic success is attainable.
We invite you to further explore our website and to contact us with any questions you may have. Thank you for your interest in our program.

The mission of The Preschool of Whitehouse United Methodist Church is to provide a loving, nurturing, safe environment in which all children, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, are welcomed and given ample opportunity to learn and grow. The Preschool is a self-supporting, non-profit program conducted by the Whitehouse United Methodist Church as a mission of the Church.
It is a firmly held belief at The Preschool that the early years are key years in the development of all children. The experiences offered our children are designed to help increase the skills of problem solving, critical thinking, reasoning and creating not just the skill of memorization. We recognize the need of our children to be provided varied opportunities for growth and stimulation in all areas of development: physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional. Although our curriculum is based on developmental guidelines, we further recognize that no two children will demonstrate behaviors in exactly the same way at the same time. We welcome your child to our school family at his or her present developmental stage and together with your help, will gently provide guidance toward positive growth and development.
