The YMCA Toddler Program is designed to care for your child in a secure and nurturing environment. Teachers help toddler develop their independence as they play and safely explore their environment. Lesson plans focus on language development, motor skills and self-help skills. Play in a variety of learning centers including: blocks, art, books, puzzles and dress up that foster a sense of independence and an interest in learning. Indoor gym and playground time provide children with the opportunity to develop gross motor skills which include running, jumping and climbing.

Our staff will strive to provide a child friendly environment, featuring hands on learning activities designed to enhance your childs physical, social and emotional development and to create an atmosphere parents will feel comfortable leaving their child in.

The YMCA of Vineland preschool program for children 3 to 4 years old is a collaboration between the Vineland School District and the NJ Department of Education that provides six hours (9:30am-3:30pm) of FREE preschool to qualified Vineland residents. Our Early Childhood program implements the High Scope curriculum that encompasses cognitive, social/emotional and physical growth through developmentally appropriate practices.

The YMCA Before and After School programs at the YMCA and 8 Vineland Public Elementary schools promote the emotional growth of your child in an environment that is educationally stimulating. Our program provides children and parents a safe, enriching, dependable and affordable before and after school experience. We offer activities constructed around the Y character values of caring, honest, respect and responsibility to assist in building positive and strong foundation within your child. Positive interactions between children and adults are emphasized. Children will participate in homework time, craft activities, 4-H Science and Technology program and the YMCAs Healthy U program sponsored by the program promotes nutrition education, noncompetitive physical education, improve self-esteem and strong involvement.
