Be involved in all areas of operating CDOs licensed preschool center for children ages 3-5.
Plan and teach activities for children ages 3-5:
storytelling, art, science, music, cooking, etc.
Create teaching games and materials, bulletin
boards and puppets. Prepare snacks, supervise
o u t d o o r activities, and demonstrate c l a s s room management
and effective t e a c h i n g techniques. Demonstrate employability skills needed
for success in the workforce. Advanced students will become involved in management activities
necessary in a licensed childcare center. Students have many opportunities through class and club
(FCCLA) to develop leadership skills and earn recognition in school and state club activities.
