Horizon Learning Center

We offer classrooms with mixed ages of 3, 4, and 5 year old children with flexible attendance options to meet parents busy schedules, as well as age specific 3 and 4 year old morning classes. We are very excited about the curriculum we are using called The InvestiGator Club. This literacy-rich program builds alphabet recognition and phonemic awareness. Children experiment with basic math concepts through a hands-on curriculum which includes counting, classifying, comparing, sorting, patterning, one-to-one correspondence and number recognition. Creative play and the use of different art media encourage experimenting and problem solving. Monthly field trips are taken by each class to enhance the curriculum theme. Along with our curriculum we have a Bible story and memory verse each week. Once a week our students attend chapel, music, and library. Electives of Spanish, American Sign Language and Piano Keyboarding are also available for education enrichment.
