Learning Ladder Child Care Center

Our center has a brand new state-of-the-art playground area. Our students also enjoy our newly renovated picnic area where our students can enjoy an outdoor lunch (weather permitting), or outdoor play with bicycles and cars. We also have our brand new commercial grade playground equipment for ages 2-13. We even have an outdoor play area just for our toddler and infant class!

Our newly remodeled infant and toddler room features a play area and a separate sleeping area for the infants. Children enrolled in the infant room are between the ages of 6 weeks and 18 months old. The infants learn fine motor skills as well as develop cognitive skills while playing and learning with our staff and our fun and interactive toys. The infant class also participates in making seasonal projects made out of your child’s hands and feet.

Another fun and colorful room is the toddler room which is always full of fun and learning. Children who are enrolled in the toddler room are between the ages of 18 months and 2 1/2 years old. The toddlers’ average day consists of a monthly letter, number, shape, and color. During their daily circle time they also learn the days of the week, months of the year, as well the weather. The toddlers also have time to be artists and create daily projects. On holidays and birthdays there is always a celebration to be made, with singing and lots of fun. The toddler room is always a fun place to be!

After your child graduates the toddler room we have our Preschool Level-1 Room for the toddlers to transition into a more structured classroom-like setting. The children who are enrolled in the Preschool Level-1 Class are between the ages of 2 1/2 years and 3 1/2 years old. In this room your child will learn how to transition socially and educationally into a more structured learning environment. Our goal in this class is to have fun while learning new things. This class has a daily morning circle time and a daily afternoon circle time where they learn numbers, letters, shapes, recognition, weather, days of the week, animals, music, and so much more. All of the learning these preschoolers do is in preparation for the move into our Preschool Level-2 Classroom when they turn 3 1/2 years old.

At the age of 3 1/2 years old your child will graduate to our Preschool Level-2 room. In this class, your child will be taught by the best Preschool teachers in our area, and learn new and exciting things every day. In this class each child will learn responsibility, independence, and respect for all others. An extensive circle time is taught in this class to prepare the students for Kindergarten. Your child will learn everything they have been learning for the past 4 years, but in a creative and fun new way. The class learns throughout the year, and has so much fun doing it.

We provide a wonderful before and after school care program, where the children get to fine-tune their social skills as well as unwind after a full day at school. Our staff will also assist any child with homework in our aftercare program.

In the summer our center offers a great way to keep the children busy and learning with our Summer Camp program. Our summer camp program consists of a weekly theme that will contain projects, stories, activities, and weekly field trips. Weather permitting; we spend a lot of time playing outside taking nature walks, playing kickball or other sports, and also water play outside including our always fun waterslide!

Once again birthdays and holidays are always a fun time at the Learning Ladder, and each of our staff members knows how to make each day special and memorable for everyone.
