Peggy Jane Kudla has been the director & owner of DCDS since November 1978. Prior to that, she taught at Beaver Dam Nursery for six years. She graduated from Georgian Court College in May of 1971 with a BA in Elementary Education. In March of 1979, Ms. Kudla received an MA in Elementary Education with specialization in early childhood. She also has nine credits in special education.
She is an active member of the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children, having held offices as Corresponding Secretary, 2nd Vice-President, 1st Vice-President and President. On the local level, Ms. Kudla served as President os the Ocean County chapter of N.J.A.E.Y.C. She is Co-President of the Ocean County Directors Club. She resides in Ortley Beach, NJ and her hobbies include counted thread embroidery and reading. She is very active in her church as a member of the Altar Rosary Society and is the car raffle Chairperson.
