Hello and welcome to Tenaha schools

My name is Terry Bowlin. I have been in education for 20 years all of them serving the students of Tenaha. My years in education include teaching Special Services 5th Grade Reading First Grant Coordinator and Assistant Principal. This is my second year as principal of grades PK-5. This year we have had another tremendous increase in enrollment and now have 252 students in the grades.

Tenaha Schools excellent teaching staff and support personnel want to ensure that every child succeeds. Our goal is to support and encourage each child in achieving his/her potential by instilling in them a sense of worth curiosity and love of learning. If there is something going on that you feel may impact your child’s success or focus at school please communicate with your child’s teacher myself or any other staff member. We are all here to support you and your student in the pursuit of excellence.
