Alphabet Preschool and Learning Center grew out of a dream which began nearly 30 years ago. Starting out as a Home Daycare and expanding into a Mini-Center and then finally as a fully licensed Preschool Center has truly been a labor of love. A desire to help mold and encourage young minds has been the driving force behind our success. Upon entering our doors the needs of the child become our chief priority.
From the beginning we have helped to define the shape and the future of Early Childhood Education in our area. By working closely with state agencies and individuals who influence policy we have championed the rights of children in local communities. Our facilities are used as educational sights by various colleges and as tour facilities for state agencies.
We firmly believe that in order to foster creativity and provide a firm foundation for our children we must first develop those attributes in our teachers. We are constantly partnering with our teachers at all levels to ensure that they receive the best education possible for the benefit of our children. All of our Lead Teachers must posses an ECE degree to hold that position. The majority of our Lead Teachers have also gone on to earn their CDA’s in addition to an Associates, giving them the equivalent of a BA degree in Early Childhood Education.
Following are some the organizations and institutions with whom we have a relationship: Bates Technical College, Pierce Community College, TAEYC, NAEYC, and the Private Industry Council. One of our Director’s also sits on the Advisory Board for the ECE program at Bates College and Pierce College. We are continuously seeking new relationships that will spearhead our work of ensuring our children a bright future.

Alphabet Preschool, Inc. wants each Child to be the best they can be. We will never try to make a Child live up to an idea of someone elses making. We want our Children to grow into being quality citizens. The first step in this direction is letting a Child know they are loved and accepted. A Child that is nurtured and cared for reflects this in their every day life.
A Child that is absorbed in the positive components of life has little time for the negatives. This involves team work! It means our Center will work with you, the Parents, in projecting a positive influence. Your Child will have many experiences of readiness math, science, reading, and language. They will be doing many arts and crafts activities, and many of their learning experiences will be done during Circle Time and Story Time. No matter the art work, it is fantastic! Our Childrens smiles beam!
