Faith Lutheran Preschool

At Faith Lutheran Preschool we believe that knowledge of God’s love and His plan for His people is the essential beginning point of education. We believe that God has given your child and every other human being a marvelous potential for creative and successful life in this world. The child in his preschool years is growing rapidly in every aspect of his life. Research shows that by the time a child is ready to enter Kindergarten he has already formed many patterns and attitudes that will shape his personality and affect his potential ability to cope successfully with his ever-changing world. Everyday activities become the foundations for later development. Such foundations strongly impact the spiritual development of the young child.

At Faith Lutheran Preschool we provide high quality programs for children ages 3 – 5 that lead them to experiencing God’s love to create a foundation upon which positive social relationships are built and to develop a strong sense of self. Our Preschool is state licensed and in compliance with the standards set by the state of Texas. In addition to the state standards we have set high standards and expectations for ourselves. Our teachers meet and exceed the requirements of Texas for continuing education. They attend several workshops and an annual conference to learn new ideas and teaching methods to use in the classrooms.

Currently we offer classes for two and a half to three-year olds with a choice of two (2) three (3) or five (5) days a week enrollment. We offer “Kinderbridge” (4 year old Kindergarten) classes for four year olds with a phonics reading program that prepares the child for our Kindergarten program at Faith Lutheran School. All preschoolers attend weekly chapel services and participate in Art Computer and Music classes.

Our classes are in session Labor Day through Memorial Day 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM. In addition to these classes we offer an option of staying for “Lunch Bunch” on certain days. Students in our Preschool are also offered Extended Care before and after school for working parents. Our calendar closely follows the calendar of the Fort Bend ISD with holiday vacation periods.
