Dawning Point Learning Center has been a child development center in the community for over 20 years. It has established itself as a center with warm and loving care providers and exceptional teaching practices. In early 2011 Erin Lacey bought Dawning Point Learning Center and began to re-vamp its program by introducing Infants into the program! As an actively involved Center Director Erin Lacey holds a Masters in Teaching, Masters in Christian Education, Bachelors in Child Psychology, and Virginia State Teaching License PreK-6. She adds a new Administrative Director to Staff Arianne Fortune holding her Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation.

We believe that every student is learning everyday. Our interactions, our play, our activities and our lessons are all way to develop our students. at Dawning Point Learning Center we incorporate traditional teaching methods with integrated learning to help each student reach his or her point of dawning. We set the Virginia Foundation Blocks for Early Learning as milestones from which to base our instruction and utilize every teachable moment of the day to enrich our students lives.
