Son Shine Early Childhood Center

SonShine Early Childhood Center is a place where children grow and learn in Christ. We seek to enrich the lives, education, and development of children through programmed activities. A rich experience in “living” Christianity is provided in our Christ-centered environment. In addition, a working partnership between families and staff is sought in order to achieve this goal. We pray for God’s guidance to accomplish this purpose.

OUR PROGRAM

SonShine Early Childhood Center has two main areas: a Preschool offered to students who are 3 or 4 years of age by August 31 and toilet trained and a Childcare Center for children who are 2 1/2 years or older and toilet trained.

OUR FACILITIES

Both the Preschool and the Childcare Center are housed in large beautiful classrooms in Holy Cross Lutheran Church. The arrangement of these classrooms allow space for planned activities as well as offering the children free-flowing exploration of the environment. Children daily enjoy an outdoor fenced play area which includes sandbox, slides, swings, balls, and other age-appropriate toys. During inclement weather, activities providing large muscle development are offered indoors.

SonShine Early Childhood Center, a ministry of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, exists to reach out to our Spokane community, teaching and sharing God’s love.
