Bananas Preschool

We offer a morning preschool program, as well as full-day child care in a clean, comfortable (and colorful!), home-like environment. We are a state-licensed facility for ages 1-7, with a cozy group of 12 children per day.

We offer an age-appropriate preschool curriculum designed mainly for ages 2-5. Our program runs from 8:30 am- 11:45 am daily and includes: art, circle time (stories/sharing/songs/movement), large and small motor activities, and math and science. If needed, we modify our classroom activities to accommodate our toddlers as well,

or offer alternate activities to suit their developmental needs.

Outdoor play is also a large part of our day here at Bananas. Not only is it essential for healthy development, but we all benefit from the fresh air and the chance to run wild in our large fenced backyard. A huge sandbox, ride-on toys, a playhouse, and a climbing structure are enjoyed by all.

We provide two healthy snacks per day, focusing on fresh fruits and vegetables purchased at our local market, Sunny Farms. Lunch is parent-provided, and offers a wonderful opportunity for the students to share (but not really!) the diversity of each familys lunchbox favorites. At 1 pm, following a busy day of preschool fun, rest time is given for all children under the age of 5, as required by the state of Washington.
