Individualization: We see each child as unique, with individual preferences, interests, learning styles and rates of development. Teachers plan experiences and activities to meet the varying developmental needs of the range of children, as well as the individual needs of each child in class. Children will learn if they are allowed the freedom and responsibility to recognize and make choices based on their own individual needs and interests.
Relationships: Strong connections/relationships with family members and other caregivers are the foundation for the healthy growth and development of young children. Each child comes to us with unique and important family values and traditions; we strive to know each child by creating relationships with each child and their family.
Research: Current research in child development says young children learn best through play; active participation in their own learning. Play, both directed and undirected, is a critical component of learning. Play helps children learn new concepts and problem-solving skills in a natural, fun way.
Vision :
It is our sincere belief that our students will leave our school with the internal motivation and problem-solving skills to succeed in life, and the social and academic skills necessary to integrate into the public, private or charter school that follows.
