Capistrano U.S.D San Juan State Preschool

Capistrano Unified offers licensed Preschool programs at elementary schools throughout the district.

State-funded Preschool programs operate Monday through Friday with half-day and full-day sessions available, depending on the school site. Participants in state-funded programs must meet eligibility requirements established by the California Child Development Programs division.

Fee-based Preschool programs provide parents a choice of half-day instruction in a two, three, or five-day-a-week program. Since these programs are self-supporting and are not funded by the California Department of Education, a tuition fee is charged to support staffing, and classroom materials.
