Los Penasquitos Elementary Preschool

Los Peasquitos Preschool is a state program funded through a grant from the Department of Education. This program provides comprehensive developmental experiences for children whose families meet specific income criteria. There is no cost to families who qualify. Priority is given to four-year-olds living within the schools attendance area. The program operates from 8:30 to 11:30 Monday through Friday and provides an enrichment program with activities in language and literacy math science cognitive development social and emotional skills and physical and fine motor development. The staff consists of a teacher Michele Janette-Ulrich who holds a degree in early childhood education and two assistants who have taken units in early childhood education.
