The West 7th Early Childhood Family Center offers drop-in play time for young children together with their parents or caregivers in a beautifully equipped playroom and outdoor playground. Families come for unstructured play time in the playroom or participate in structured activities such as art, music and yoga classes.
The Family Center allows neighborhood parents to connect for socialization, form support networks and share parenting tips. Children form friendships and receive those first opportunities to learn social skills such as sharing and taking turns. West 7ths Family Support Coordinator lends support and can offer referrals to a variety of community resources.
