Classes meet Monday Friday at the North Oaks Eastern Recreation Building.

The North Oaks Preschool is a parent cooperative. The preschool employs two licensed and highly credentialed teachers. A board of parent volunteers, including a director and assistant director, serve as the administrative body for the preschool.
All parents (or caregivers) volunteer in the classroom three to five times a year. Parents have the opportunity not only to observe their child interact with her/his teacher and classmates, but to participate in that interaction. This allows the teachers to focus their energy and attention on the children and their needs during the school day.
The board meets monthly during the school year and is comprised of committees responsible for the administration of the preschool in coordination with the teachers. Parents are encouraged to participate by either serving as a board member, volunteering on a committee or simply attending board meetings and providing input. This allows parents to optimize their childs experience as well as cultivate relationships with the other parents.
