The mission of Bilingual Child Care & Education Center is to support the natural development of bilingual (Spanish/English) language skills and cultural awareness while preparing children for success in school.
The Center has the following goals:
1) Create an environment of immersed language learning implemented by highly qualified teachers who are fully bilingual (Spanish/English).

2) Foster creativity and healthy intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development, recognizing and nurturing each childs unique gifts in preparation for success in kindergarten.

3) Provide a safe, caring, and respectful environment that honors diversity and cultural awareness.

Bilingual Child Care and Education Center is committed to a high level of academic excellence. As such we maintain a dynamic curriculum including Language and Literacy Development, Cognitive Thinking (Math and Science), Art, Music, Cultural Studies, and Creative Movement.
Our Language and Literacy Development and Cognitive Thinking domains are divided into specific learning objectives that are developmentally appropriate for each of our classrooms. Our daily academic blocks are taught in Spanish and both English and Spanish language instruction are included within the Language and Literacy component.

Category: Listening
Listen to and recognize different sounds and syllables in rhymes and familiar words
Child will be able to represent stories told or read aloud through various media or during play
